Welcome to my blog. A place where I talk about games software and rants. Please ignore the fact that we’re inside a cardboard box.
After many troubles tries errors and pulled hair, I finally figured out how to redesign this blog using hugo, and make it work with ox-hugo. That way I can use the well established org-mode markup instead of having to worry about markdown markup which always throws me in for a loop. This way I can keep all my content in one giant org file, and have it published more or less automatically.
I recently got to play the latest indie gem called “Stray” aka the cat game. TL;DR Game is good, buy it, play it, love it A fun little adventure where you get to play as cat and do all the cat things:
Knock stuff over and cause chaos? Check Sharpen claws on carpets furniture and door? Check A dedicated button to meow? Check Adorable animations and actions that will make a cat owner go “Yep, that’s exactly what a cat would do”?
Previously I used to play Space Engineers only for the scenarios. Only recently I decided to give it a bit of a deeper dive and do a bit of exploring. One thing that helped me a bit was playing on a server. While my server of choice is largely empty, the knowledge that there is someone to eventually interact with makes the whole experience slightly better. At least up to the point these guys decide to educate me on the joys of PvP - that’s probably where I’m gonna get my own ass handed to me.
